Now that you have dry leaves,there are a few things you can do.You can either leave them as is or add a bit more protection.
This can be accomplished by placing the leaf between two pieces of wax paper.Place a dish towel over the wax paper and press with an iron (on medium heat).Press on each side for approximately 3-4 minutes.Remove leaf from wax paper.
You will notice a fine coating of wax which will preserve your leaves.
You can also purchase a spray preservative at your local craft store.This will leave a glossy coating on the leaf.

Yet another way to preserve the leaves is to submerge them in a solution of glycerin and water.Use a mixture of one part glycerin to two parts water.
Place the mixture in a flat pan, and totally submerge the leaves in a single layer in the liquid.You'll have to weight them down to keep them submerged.In two to six
days, they should have absorbed the liquid and be soft and pliable.
Remove them from the pan and wipe off all the liquid with a soft cloth. Done correctly,the leaves will remain soft and pliable indefinitely.

What if you don't have wax paper?

You can buy a roll of wax paper in any grocery store.
