Leaf/birdbaths from cement?

I know that I found this info on one of these forums, and now that my ladyfriend and I want to do this, impossible to find. Know there even were pics.

Would love to "talk" to someone on the whys/wherefors of this craft. I have done ceramics, know there are certain things that must be done, and have most of the "ingredients" already, just need some info and moral suppost!

Could someone steer me in the right direction?
