How to save an underwatered fern

Posted by law2468 (My Page) on

I have a small fern (I don't know the exact species) which I keep indoors in my room at uni. It was left without regular watering for about a fortnight and despite heavy watering since, it is still drooping and the leaves are really dry. I have included a picture (sorry its not very clear, the height is about 5cm/2").

Is there anything else I can do? I would really like to be able to save it.

Thank you

Cut off all the dead fronds and see if it will resprout. Do not water again until it dries out.
