Do a search for 'stinkhorn' mushrooms.

That is strange looking.

I was gonna ask if it stank - it really reminds me of stinkhorns I've seen too.

It did not stink. I did a search on stinkhorns and didn't see anything that looked like this, and since it did not stink, I guess we can rule that out.

Stinbkhorns are normally grey white mushrooms with a distinctive smell(Phallaceae)
