I haven't posted in years, but I found this on a creekbank today and thought it was a fern. However I cannot find it in my field guide or on the web. I hope the experts here can give me some information on it.

Looks like Pteris multifida, not a native fern.

Yes, I have seen it growing on steps in Savannah.
