We are about to put a driveway through a section of our land here in northern NY and it is magnificently covered with ferns which will sadly have to be destroyed. I know I can't save them all but I would really love to save some of them. I have friends who are willing to adopt them if I can find out how to dig them and plant them. We are also interested to know if anyone might be able to identify them from the picture I am including. Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give us in our attempt to prevent mass fern murder!!!
