I name it "Fred".

Looks like Pteris longifolia or another closely related Pteris from here. They have a few of these in the greenhouses of Indiana University, too; they seem to do very well and get fairly large.

Hard to be sure without seeing sori, though...

Thanks for your input Patrick, but I am not convinced that it is a Pteris. Plants of P. longifolia I have seen in the past have not been so large or growing in such an obvious rosette. At the time it reminded me of a Blechnum, but now I'm not so sure. I didn't think to look at the sori at the time, probably because I was being hurried along by a small child...

The closer picture helps. You're right, definitely not Pteris longifolia. Sure looks like Blechnum, can even see what look like the typical Blechnum sori in profile on the leaflets. I don't know abything about the various species of Blechnum, though, so don't have a clue beyond genus.
