RE: My new fern

great pics and lovely to share
is that growing in soil or is it small rocks. I have grown some polystich here in aust but they don't seem to last too many years maybe we are too hot in summer I gather they are a cooler growing fern??

RE: My new fern/Dee

Hi Dee,its growing in garden soil, which is quite heavy but it seems to be doing OK. And yes it is a winter hardy fern so the heat you have may be a problem. If you have a cool sunless spot put it there or if you have a cool unheated room you could grow it indoors.
