strange tropical fern

i'm guessing it is a fern but it's stiff like carboard and has this beautiful metallic shine.
from the montreal botanical gardens but it had no name next to it.

I know a fern with the name Microsorum steerei, looks similar to this one. Can you tell me how to post a picture in this forum I will send you one.

i was looking at the few pics of microsorums on the internet and it does look very similar-i saw it is also called cobalt fern.
what i do to post a pic is i have pictures i download to photobucket.com (you can open an account for free) and then i copy and paste the address that's in the section 'tag' on to the message here-when you ask to preview you should see your picture. just don't use 'yahoo pictures' to keep your pictures online because i find many people can't see them when i post them. |
