| I have a lawn that is mostly shade but has several spots of full sun. Although are summers are hot and humid, we have been under a drought for several years. I want to be as environmentally conscious about my yard as possible. I want to kill off my grass and moss over my yard. Much of the shaded areas already have different mosses growing in them.
What can I grow in the sunny spots? I have read about irish moss, which I know isn't really a moss. I like the way it looks and it would blend well with the real mosses. But I don't think it is an option due to extended summer periods of heat and drought. Can anyone suggest a moss for these sunny spots? |
