Hi, I am in USA south east(SC), and I am new to mossing. I am trying to cultivate. So far, I have bought some cushion from a local seller, but can't afford the steep prices for my large area. I also have fernmoss growing in my yard already. I noticed a moss growing in the sun on concrete and asphalt cracks in parking lots, and I do have an area that gets sun. I am trying to transplant and spread. I think this moss is some kind of byrum. Any ideas, help or info will be appreciated. Thanks, Lee |

| Can you explain what you meant by fernmoss? Do you have a picture. I live in the south Piedmont of NC. |

| Fern moss looks exactly like a small fern growing very close on soil, bricks, rocks, trees. It is great to use for walkways because it is so flat. You can see a good photos on the web at the most popular moss seller. Google search "buying moss," and the site will reveal itself. I don't think we are allowed to just name the site! |
