Shiny Holly Fern

I saw a fern for sale locally this weekend from Terra Nova Plants for which the description is as follows:

"Polystichum ÂShiny HollyÂ

(Shiny Holly Fern) "Oh my goodness! Is that real?" We hear this more than once when people are amazed to feel this recently collected evergreen fern with a wonderful, clean, shiny look, and a plastic-like texture. Deep green foliage year round looks great in the fall, winter and in spring with early bulbs. The emerging fronds are also a sight with huge coppery scales unfurling. An exciting Chinese species [related to P. neolobatum which has a silver wash], but is not yet identified! Easy to grow and use in the woodland garden or containers for long lasting beauty. Possibilities as a cut?"

See http://www.terranovanurseries.com/pages/plantsP1.html#polsh

for a photo, scroll down to Polystichum.

As it happens I already bought something similar from The Perennial Gardens this summer labelled Polystichum squarrosum(?). I wonder if they are one and the same... any thoughts?
