The rains and winds have ended for the moment. My moss garden is now visible after the Japanese maple leaves have been blown away, leaving several gaping holes in the green moss carpet. I watn to go back for repairs and need to see if anyone has ever gone about this proces of filling the gaping holes, averaging 1 - 3 inches in diameter. The carpet spreads over 200 square feet and is quite healthy but I really want to plug the holes. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey, Douglas. The easiest way to do this is to slice one inch wide strips from the exposed sides of the holes. Move the strips over to fill the hole. The edges will grow together just like a skin graft. Sandy
