Can you grow mushrooms on a black walnut stump?

My black walnut tree died and now I have a stump left in my backyard. I was thinking this would be a good place to grow mushrooms but I had heard that they dont grow well on black walnut. Does anyone out there have any experience growing mushrooms on black walnut? Are there any particular types that are better than others?
