| It is from central Maine. It is fresh out of the snow (2 days) so it may not be rejuvinated yet. Most of it looks like it still hasn't quite come back to life but the shapes are still there. The place it was in was a moderately wooded area getting sun filtered through trees. |

| Very nice images Hoorayfororganic!!! How about making up a web journal on this species using your images and commentary on the moss and where it grows and what the habitat is like and the seasonal changes with measurements on temperatures, foot candles of exposure, amount of rainfall, snowfall, etc??? The species is Thuidium delicatulum (my spelling may be wrong) |
