a moss grower that carries a cushion moss-I think it is
Leucobryon.

And the white rabbit's foot can even be found at a local
store such as Home Depot or OSH or nursery center.

I have been stoping on the side of the road--woods area and gathering it. I havegathered enough to go in between my rocks on a path that I recently had installed. This time of year it is very easy to spot on the side of the road. Be sure to get enough of the medium it is on. I am new to this and read to keep it moist. Also do not water with just tap water. I have a connector to my hose to remove the chlorine. I am plannig to hook up a misting system soon.

Thankyou both for the info. I've actually found nice bit of moss just outside my yard (still my property) while putting back up my fence yesterday. I have no clue what type it is though, much different than cushion moss, for sure. I also did get some cusion moss pieces from various sources such as HUGE bonsai trees and such. I'm still looking for ferns though. The rabbits foot I can do without, but maybe ressurection fern.

as they also carry resurrection fern, it is called
Polypodium, I think they have 2 different species.
