| I have a huge holly fern in the shaded garden and would like to divide it, is this possible. It's about five years old.

| Just dig it up and hose down the dirt to see what you are doing and start wiggling apart. Make as many sections as you need and before planting arrange so your plant is a nice round clump and throw it back in the ground. You can't hurt a fern I am convinced. Be sure and keep it watered well for about 2 weeks. |
