Please help in the ID of this unknown Fern.

So I am at the local Lowes and pass by this little gem. The tag shows it to be Platycerium bifurcatum. But having a true stag horn fern in the greenhouse I knew better. But I love ferns so I bought. I have posted pictures of the root system with fiddle heads coming out as well as some of the biforcated leaves. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Definitely Microsorium specie possibly punctatum grandiceps but not really enough cresting in frond tips. Definitely not a Platycerium.
