| We have a yard service that does almost everything in our yard (except new plantings, we pretty much do all of that ourselves.) In fact last night we were planting some new shrubs and admiring the huge ferns growing under our very old rhody. Sorry, I don't know what kind of ferns they are. Anyway, yard guys come today as I'm leaving, and when I got home I noticed that all my ferns are totally pruned! To the nub...should that be done at this time? I know they'll come back but they were so beautiful! |

| With a few rare possible exceptions, pruning ferns just doesn't accomplish anything. This isn't the wrong time, but only because there isn't a right time... Patrick Alexander |
