Discover the beautiful planting opportunities hidden in rock walls, paver spaces and other garden gaps
Full StoryHi!
I just purchased 3 diiferent kinds of jap (?) ferns from fieldstone gardens and am wondering what to expect in growth this first year, the plants are the standard size for the the nursery,
Brandford beauty, nipponicum metallicum, and var. pictum.
I know these are supposed to be slow growing but HOW slow?
Am I to have some tiny sprouts for the next few years or are the going to fill out to a albeit small but a actual plant?
thanks
