Growing Marchantia

I recently put up a few pages of a webjournal on growing Marchantia, a liverwort. While often considered a weed in the Pacific Northwest and in some commercial plant nurseries, liverworts are a very interesting bryophyte and quite unlike mosses. Growing it in a pot in an area of the country where it does not naturally occur has been a matter of hapstance with only small colonies seemingly hanging on the edge of survival in my few attempts at a concerted effort to grow them. My latest experiment has proven quite successful.
