You may see some growth on the Cinnamon and Ostrich ferns this year, as a result of energy stored in their tuberous roots, they will recover fairly rapidly, but I wouldn't expect any on the Lady and Maidenhair ferns until next year and then very little growth. It requires several years for them to become established and begin to produce multiple fronds, since they have fibrous roots, with little or no reserves.
The Cinnamon, Ostrich and Lady ferns are denizens of damp locations and streamsides and appreciate moist conditions. The Maidenhair ferns will tolerate moist conditions, but some are more drought tolerant.

You might try adding a small amount (about 1 Tbsp) of timed release fertilizer, such as Osmocote 18-6-12 (9-month formula), to each of them. Sprinkle on the surface around the stems and mix lightly into the soil, water.
A friend who grows ferns commercially, says he uses it to boost the growth rate and allow them to reach the market within a few weeks, instead of several months.
