Moving resurrection fern

I have a couple spots of resurrection fern growing on the trunks of oak trees in my front yard and was thinking of trying to get it to grow on other trees as well.

What is the best method for doing this?

Good luck.. It is extremely hard to transplant. You may try finding fronds that have ripe spores on them and blend them into a paste brushing it on the area you want. Best on north side.
