Ferns for dry shade

Istanbuljoy

Hi, I am new to ferns and have a new shade bed as a Birthday present! I wanted to add some ferns to offset the heavy Hosta and Brunnera leaves, but the bed is under a high deck with some tree roots (not many) and has a drip irrigation. I would want dry shade ferns because we have very low humidity and we are sometimes prone to drought. What ferns are great for dry shade? I have read that Dryopteris is a good genis for dry shade, but does that mean the whole genis or just some cultivars or species?

Thanks for the help.
