I've noticed that many ferns except the asparagus fern show up on non-toxic plant lists. I have a toddler, and probably eventually a dog who will be running around int he backyard and want to avoid poisonous plants as much as possible....are there any other types of fern I should avoid?

Also, a BIG advantage of ferns in my area is the deer-resistance...do you know of any that deer particularly like to eat that I should also avoid?
