Moss from seeds?

Greetings! I am new to this forum. I am not a gardener, although I wish I were! I thought I'd post my question for those who DO know a thing or two about gardening. We have cement pavers that are looking pretty shabby. We do not wish to remove them as it is a huge project and we are working on selling our home and eliminating yard work! So, I was wondering if it would be possible to plant moss seeds in-between the crevices to help hide some of the sins. The crevices are quite tight in some areas and wider in others. So, the moss (if it did grow) would not be uniform, but I'm hoping it will look better than the dilapidated concrete. The planting depth would only be about an inch in some places. Will moss grow in such shallow depths?, Can one purchase moss seeds? What mail order company would you recommend? What kind of moss? Or would I be better off not tackling this project? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
