Questions about Kimberly Ferns

I have two Kimberly Ferns that I bought from a greenhouse last year. I trimed them back and brought them indoors for the winter. Now I only have one or two new green sprigs coming out. Is that normal? I took one out of the pot and can see some small clear bulb-like things. What are those? Should I save the new sprigs and repot them? Should I save the bulbs? Will they eventually grow back? HELP!

Water them well and put them in a part shade area - they should put up new fronds. Ferns don't grow from bulbs, they grow from rhizomes or roots.
