When hanging outside the 28 days seems too long with the wind on them.....if basket feels light I usually water....my ends seemed brown when I bought them....maybe greenhouse watering too much??.....I kind of agree with past posts on neglect...have had hanging ferns outside for 5 years..( new each year).....finally learned to water less but mist when very hot...MN weather always different:)...miracle gro helped green up plant too...
