You can't tell from the picture exactly what they are- and there would need to be a lot of other info for a "best guess" (of course even best guess is a bad one if your looking for edibles). You should seek out books by dave aurora and paul stamets if your interested in learning more about them. There are lots of others but those are a good starting point.

Your second picture is a different story, however. That is certainly a Dryad's Saddle, or Polyporus squamosus. They are edible but most people don't like them. Try rubbing it with your fingers. They will then smell good- like melon rind.

Oh, and look at the poors on the bottom of a saddle. A slippery jacks will look kinda like that, as opposed to having the gills your first pic has.

I wouldn't eat a wild 'shroom unless it was a Morel as that's the only one I know to be okay.
