Help I.D. fungus

I found these on the lawn, close to the white pine trees. At first I thought they were on animal poop, but then realized the white fungus was growing on green fungus. I've never seen this before. Very interesting! Each pile is about 4" across.
Any ideas on what we should call it?

My books and google helped not a whit, so I have no idea. But it's very cool.

Very strange. Could be a bacteria such as cyanobacteria. You would need to put it under a microscope to be certain. Let us know if you figure it out. Ron
