I recommend against applying any fertilizer to moss. Its application will encourage grasses and weeds and do nothing for the moss itself. If you want to encourage moss, just give it regular light waterings during dry weather and make sure the soil is on the acid side.

Several years ago, I tried a half strength solution of Miracid fertilizer on part of my moss garden. Didn't do any harm, but didn't seem to make any difference either.........jjane
