Cool fern: heavy metal

A couple years ago I visited a nursery and bought a fern, variety name: heavy metal. This fern COOL! It is whitish on the foliage and the stems are kind of streaked pinkish... anyone have any idea what kind of fern this is... I mean species/type?

does anyone else have this?

You know - I just saw something online, it must be a type of "japanese painted fern" that looks very much like it. These seem to very hardy as we just had a 20 below F winter and it came back.
