The division of the frond is consistent with marginal woodfern. A picture of the sori on the back could confirm it.

I'll take a look - when I took the pictures a few days ago, there were no noticeable features on the back sides of the fronds.

Dryopteris marginalis is a species that varies significantly throughout its range. This doesn't look exactly like the Marginal Wood Fern in our area (NY) but it is close. The best way to ID them is to look at the underside of the frond. If it is D. marginalis, the sori will be directly along the edge of the pinnules. There are a number of hybrids, both fertile and sterile, which D. marginalis is a parent species for. One other thing that might make it easier to tell is that D. marginalis is evergreen; it will have broken down old fronds from last year. Hope that helps.
