| Last weekend during the garden tour I saw this fern growing in a ground here in z6b. I never saw anything like that in a local landscapes, so I was curious. Owner wasn't present to answer the questions, so I have to ask you.
It has an appearance similar to Foxtail fern (I know, I know, it's not fern at all), but have a very deep green and shiny foliage. Grown in almost full shade at the bottom of the steep slope, so probably location is moist to wet.

| Could it be Western Sword Fern? Maybe someone from West Coast can Id. I wouldn't mind having a few in my back wet area. Nice! |

| Isn't it possible that it IS a foxtail fern and they just use it an an annual or bring it in during the colder times? It sure does look like a foxtail to me. Paula |
