It looks like Sensitive Fern to me.

Sensitive fern won't have these rhizomes... And I've never seen it grown as a house plant (I am assuming ellym has a house plant fern?).
I'd say it's Microsorum pustulatum, aka Kangaroo Fern.
I usually see them with rhizomes growing over the sides of the pot. I imagine it would be hard to keep them all inside. It's probably similar in this regard to all the rabbit's foot ferns, grown in pots all covered in rhizomes.

I have positively identified the fern I was asking about.
It is a wart fern or serpent fern..thanks for your input.

Here is a lovely photo of the serpent fern or wart fern on a tree. It also makes a very attractive hedge.
