Ultrasonic discs don't provide much mist, the mist is very dence and runs very nicely, but its not a large volume, You'e probably be better off with presurised hose misters.

oh ok i want to give these beauties as much tlc as i can and i hope they apprieate it i spent the two hottest days we have had this year so far digging into clay and brash soil i ache all over but it should look good i really am amazed that i now have a pile of soil that im sure would fill the hole twice over i will post pics when i have got it somewhere near finished it will have teresterial ferns planted down the sides and some in the bottom

Check out www.digcorp.com; they carry lots of DIY irrigation systems. I've installed both overhead spray, underground spray, and drip systems using their products. Very easy.

Make sure that you don't have sun shining on wet fronds, that will only magnify potential sunburn problems. Also, fronds produced under mist will be soft growth and much more prone to cold damage than those grown hard.
