Wild mushrooms in my grass and raised vegetable beds!

I know that mushrooms indicate that my soil is very active and has the right things going on in there, but I must have pulled over seven dozen wild mushrooms out of my lawn in the past two days! Recently I ammended the soil in our backyard with generous amounts of peatmoss as the soil was rock hard clay and silt. In the grass next to where I ammended the soil for a flower bed, a lot of mushrooms are popping up! There is a slight decline in the grade of the yard from the bed to the other side of the lawn, and with all the rain we have had here recently, I guess the conditions are right. Is there something else that could be causing them? What else am I missing?

Also, I noticed last night that my vegetable beds now have little black mushrooms popping up. I used nothing but potting soil and decomposed manure/humus in those beds. Is this what caused it?

How can I get rid of them?

Will the mushrooms cause my vegetable to be unedible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
