House ferns and PLumosa fern

Two questions:
I have about a dozen plumosa in hanging baskets clustered under three skylights. Have had almost 2 yr. They sort of "come and go" health-wise. Is there a fertilizer they would like? Do they like misting? Water how often? Any other hints? Thanks!

Secondly, Are there any nice ferns other than Boston for inside? Something big like Ostridge fern? Does Ostridge fern die back in winter? Can it be grown in a big pot? Thanks again!

I don't think Ostrich fern would do well inside. It like lots of water and mine dies back in the winter. One fern I think may do OK inside would be Phlebodium aureum. They are large epiphytes and can do pretty well on the dry side. Many Davallia (Rabbit's foot ferns) do well inside also.
