Please I.D. mushroom

I found this growing in my backyard. It's in the shade, growing underneath hardwood trees. I'm in zone 7a, Maryland. I'm mid-Atlantic. We've been having cool nights and hot days. It's been humid lately but not with a lot of rain.

Is it a Pig ear mushroom?

That looks like Laetiporus cincinnatus, known by some as Chicken of the Woods. Visit the following link for some info. Ray

It looks similar... but the one I found didn't have the pronounced rings that chicken of the woods seems to. It does look like the one that grows on trees except that it was growing on the ground.
