Moss, Ferns & Cryptogams

suggestions for moss lawn

Hello all. I would like to replace the grass in my front (north-facing) yard with moss. This is zone 7, Pine Barrens region, with acidic and not too sandy soil. There is plenty of shade and some moss already growing, so I think it's a good spot. Does anyone have recommendations for specific mosses to grow and different techniques to use? Thanks!
