Mushrooms growing from straw.

I found mushrooms growing from a moist bale of straw. I have never seen this before. Wondering if these mushrooms are edible. (Just curious). Has anyone else ever seen this before? They came up fast. Just moved the straw not even two full days ago and didn't notice anything.

They could be a a variety of species, some delicious, some will show no negative symptoms till you die of liver failure a few days later.

Not so eager to eat them just curious. Didn't know if straw produced only a certain kind or not. Wanted to post a pic but when the sun fully came out at noon they wilted or withered. Couldn't take the High sun. Saw them at about 7:00am. If I see them again I will post a pic.
