| Are there any specific super tough ferns out there?
I have found deer and sword to be winter hardy but not close to the pathway that gets a bit of salt run off. Thanks! |

| Any possibility of switching to calcium chloride instead of salt? I'm in zone 6 (east Tennessee) and I find 'autumn fern' to be quite the vigorous one. It is a Dryopteris sp. and seems to be common in nurseries around here. |

| Will try it out, thanks! I think it is the calcium product actually. |
