| Has anyone out there tried transplanting moss sod en masse? My goal is not so much to create a pretty landscape as it is to preserve a large amount of moss that will be removed for a construction project. We were thinking of just rolling it up, storing it nicely, and rolling in back out when we are done. Has anyone tried anything like this? Any ideas?

| Post a picture of the moss or send me an email. Most but not all moss can be stored for weeks. Store out of sunlight and not in plastic. I have probably seventy different kinds of moss collected over the last three months that are kept in paper bags on my back porch that I am working on identifying and will transplant some into moss gardens when the heat wave we are now experiencing abates.
