| I am thinking of buying a shittake log next year, and I was wondering if anyone had info on storage and how long and when their growing season is. Could I expect two weeks of mushrooms or two months? Are zone 6 winters too cold to store them outside? |

I have not had success growing these outdoors, however I
have grown shiitake logs INdoors with some success. I had
several flushs ( once a month after a cold water soak for
8 - 12 hours ) |
