Staghorn fern

I've been trying hard to find one of these and no one in my area (evidently) carries them. If I can find one, how hard is it to propagate one of these lovelies? I used to have one but I don't specialize in ferns and never tried to multiply it. :( It was huge and gorgeous too - blasted housesitter ignored my instructions and it died. Oh well.

Dear Ging,

The staghorn fern can be propagated from spores and division (with clumping plants). The botanical name is Platycerium bifurcatum. They are for sale at the Fern Factory (Anahiem, CA) which has a link you may be interested in
