Asparagus Fern - question on cuttings

I have a gorgeous Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri', that maintains its emerald green foliage due to growing in a moist mostly shaded area against my wall. Is it possible to propagate cuttings to grow new plants to place in containers?

How do I go about this? The only plant I have ever propagated is the geranium by placing in a container of water until the roots sprout.

RE: Asparagus Fern - question on cuttings

Cuttings won't work but you can divide the plant to create new ones. Remove some of the stems at the base including some of the roots.
