i just recently mounted a staghorn on a 12x12 piece of cedar wood. but before i hung it up on the wooden fence. i propped it up against the fence on the ground (filled with rocks) for a couple of days so i can decide on where i wanted it. i finally decided and went to pick it up to hang

it on the wooden fence and i see tons and tons of ants and it appeared to me that they were all carrying something, it looked white to me. but anyway, i was pretty sad to see that because i thought to myself. what if it kills it. Actually, i saw all of them ants coming from behind the moss. if anyone has any good news for me or any suggestions on what i can do.. please do.. oh, i forgot to mention i did spray a little Raid on it to kill a little.. but i didn't want to overwhelm it and possibly kill it.. thanks
