Stem of Asplenium nidus "CW" Browning

Any idea what could be happening? You can see the bottom of the steam (if that's the proper name) of the middle leaf is brown.

This plant is relatively new, so I'm not sure if the brown is progressing upwards or if it's static.

Note: The photo is sideways.

That's quite normal. Won't necessarily be on every frond, but it is common and nothing to worry about. From memory, it's most common on larger older plants.
