Hello all-

I'd love help ID'ing this unique fern. It's from a small local indoor gardening store- normally their plants are labeled and healthy, but this one was unnamed and a little beat up. It's fronds are very spiky looking but quite thin- almost papery. Each frond is poofy, rather than being on one plane like most ferns. The stems are dark freen, almost black on mature fronds.

Any ideas? I'd love to know what it is, partly because it isn't doing too well.
