I saw this beautiful patch of moss near my lawn few months back and had it put on some mud. I found another moss patch and made the moss buttermilk slurry and spread on some orchid bark. It got fungus and then fungus gnats. I had it covered in a plastic grocery store bag to keep the fungus gnats contained and thought I would get rid of it later. I completely forgot all about it and then came upon it today.
